Snowdrop Walks around Ireland 2019

It’s a couple of weeks into January and the excitement of Christmas might seem like a distant memory. But fear not! There is a different type of excitement in the air with the imminent arrival of Spring. One of the first signs is the peeping through of little green snowdrop shoots – and we have it on very good authority that because of our mild Christmas this year’s display is pretty spectacular. These brave and cheerful plants are making an appearance in Irish gardens. So it’s no surprise that they have their very own event dedicated just to them. All over the country, stately homes and gardens are celebrating the arrival of the snowdrops. Below are just a few of our favourite events, but check out www.inspireme.ie for even more snowdrop walks close to you.
