Have your content ready to go, with lots of great images, a concise event description and a url for people to find out more. Here are some other websites and platforms where you should try and list your event.
Fáilte Ireland Websites
Events taking place in Ireland can be submitted, free of charge, for listing on DiscoverIreland.ie and VisitDublin.ie through Fáilte Irelands event portal.
Niche interest websites
Many parenting websites will have a ‘what’s on’ section that will be happy to list a family friendly event. There are websites dedicated to walking events, food festivals, country music, country fairs, you name. Again just google the genre that your event most closely aligns with eg ‘Food Festivals Ireland’ and make contact with the top hits.
Eventbrite
One of the biggest ticket management websites, many people browse Eventbrite searching for events. Free events are free to list.
City and County Websites
Many city and county councils have a website with an event guide. Google ‘What’s on in ….. ‘ wherever your event takes place to find the listings. Then contact the website to find how you can list your event
Entertainment.ie
A great source of information on cinema, tv listings and gigs, Entertainment.ie can list your event on it’s website
Newspapers and Radio
Mix your online and offline marketing, by sending a press release including images and event descriptions to the websites of local and national newspapers, providing them with content in the form of an article to share on their website and social media channels. They will be delighted to receive good content and you can expand your audience reach.
And don’t forget to tell us all about it!
