The walks take place on the Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th of October. With colours of autumn at their peak and the forecast for the weekend looking good, this looks set to be one of the best years yet.
Local guides will bring walkers on a journey into and across the Comeragh Mountains. They will impart insights into the geography and stories of the area. The weekend is about more than just walking. Expect plenty of fun and good conversation in the company of like-minded comrades.

From the those with an excellent level of fitness and lots of experience, to families who wish for a more gentle stroll there are grades of walks suitable for everyone. See here for more details.
Proper walking clothes, boots etc., are absolutely necessary. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to those considered not suitably dressed.
We are completely biased, as InspireMe HQ happens to be located at the edge of the Nire Valley. But we strongly recommend that you lace-up the walking boots this weekend and check out this beautiful part of the country.
Don’t forget to check www.inspireme.ie regularly to find lots of inspiration for things to do in your own locality. And sign up here to receive regular updates on what’s on in your area.
