Dualla Show
Dualla, Co. Tipperary: The Dualla Show is always a fantastic family day out. Along with Livestock Shows and a seriously impressive display of Farm Machinery, there is a fantastic Kids Zone. This year there will be a big top Circus entertaining children all day. Ukulele Hooley be the Seas
Dun Laoghaire: The Ukulele Hooley is a weekend dedicated to all things Ukulele! Naturally there will be lots of Live Music. As well as listening to great music, you can bring your own Ukulele and join in on an epic jamming session on Sunday. Additionally there will be great Mexican Street food available and a full bar. What’s not to love!

Dalkey Lobster Festival
Dalkey: Up the road the Dalkey Lobster Festival promises more great food and more great music! While the opening concert has been postponed, there is plenty more planned to make it worth checking out. Between 12 noon and 6pm on Saturday and Sunday, the streets will be given over to marques serving an incredible array of seafood. Moreover there will be street entertainment and fun for all the family with a Kids Zone. Throughout the weekend volunteers will be raising funds for The Children’s Medical Research Centre at Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin. Hence you can have a fantastic weekend while supporting a worthy charity. Win, win!

Salmon of Knowledge Festival
Trim, Co. Meath : The Salmon of Knowledge Festival on 27th August is set against the magnificent backdrop of Trim Castle. Expect a packed programme of events and activities including the Boyne Adventure Race on the River Boyne. With traditional music and dance, drama performances, stalls from Trim and Boyne Valley craftspeople, and entertainment throughout the day, this will be a fantastic day out. And it’s Free!

Sea Food Rocks Festival
Clogherhead, Co. Louth : More seafood and more fun at the Sea Food Rocks Festival. There will be plenty of things to do for all ages, with live shows and dance competitions. The ‘Best Chowder in Louth’ Competition is sure to be hotly contested.

Masters of Tradition
Bantry, Co. Cork: Celebrating Traditional Music in it’s purest form the Masters of Tradition festival will see performances take place in both Bantry House, one of Ireland’s most exquisite historic mansions, and in St Brendan’s Church. There, the best in tradition music will be showcased in superb concerts. This entire weekend will be a real treat for lovers of Irish music and Irish culture.

Oughterard, Co. Galway: The Oughterard Show is one of the leading shows in the West of Ireland. See the best of Connemara with performance ponies, livestock, pets, dogs, farm and garden produce and vintage displays as well as a vast variety of art and craft exhibits. Summer Sounds
Bray, Co. Wicklow: Bray’s iconic Bandstand has been the venue for Summer Sounds, a series of free Sunday afternoon concerts. This weekend The Airport Police Fire Service Band are lined up to entertain.

The People’s Park, Waterford : Yogafest is a fantastic free day with Back to Back Yoga Classes planned from sunrise to sunset. There is a special class planned for children. Simply bring a yoga mat or a towel. Namaste!

Tramore Fireworks Display
Tramore, Co.Waterford: Finally to see the summer out with a bang, head along to the Tramore Fireworks Display. A family fun day is planned with a host of family activities including free face painting, free balloons and balloon art, stilt walkers, fire breathers and clowns. After all the fun, a monster fireworks display is planned.
