Wicklow – A Month Of Tulips At June Blake’s Garden April 20th – May 20th
Known as the Garden County, where better than Wicklow to start our list. April 20th marks the official start of the season at June Blake’s Garden just outside Blessington. Dublin – Spring Blossoms – Daily Guided Walks At The National Botanic Gardens – Throughout April
The National Botanic Gardens must be one of the best places in the capital to celebrate the long overdue arrival of Spring. This enjoyable stroll features colourful tulips, delicate cherry blossoms and fragrant narcissi amongst many other delightful blooms. Cork – Fota House Plant and Garden Fair’ April 22nd
Fota House and Gardens will host its annual ‘Fota House Plant and Garden Fair’ on Sunday 22nd April. There will be about 70 specialist nurseries in attendance. Gardening enthusiasts will have the opportunity to purchase unusual and special plants. Volunteers from Fota House and The Friends of Marymount Hospice will be on hand to make the day run smoothly. The Clare Garden Festival is a real treat for Gardeners. The festival offers a great series of Garden Expert talks. This year’s theme is ‘Gardening for Mental Wellbeing’.
