The magical Teddy Bears’ Picnic will take place at Brigit’s Garden on Sunday July 21st 2019 starting at 12.30pm - 4.30pm. Children and their families are welcome to bring along their favourite Teddy and join us for a day of fun-filled activities.
Musical Stories with Carol 1.30pm, 2.40pm & 3.40pm: Take some time out to listen to some interactive bear-inspired stories with Carol. There will be musical instruments to hand and children are invited to sing and play along to the story.
Teddy Bear Arts & Crafts: Make a very special beaded necklace for your teddy bear to take home. Get creative and take some time to colour in teddy bear pictures using crayons and pencils and create a teddy bear collage.
Paw-print Treasure Hunt: Children can hunt for paw-prints around the Celtic Gardens and nature trail. All children will receive a small prize.
Teddy Bear Hospital: How is little Teddy Bear feeling? Meet the doctor at the Teddy Bear Hospital and make sure he is in tip-top shape.
Teddy Bears’ Disco 2.00pm & 3.00pm: Now that Teddy is feeling better, it’s time to hit the dancefloor and dance the afternoon away with Gigi from Kidisco.
Dotted around the Garden, as you stroll around, the kids can enjoy ball-fishing at the Fountain, chalking at the Imbolc garden and face-painting.
You are welcome to bring your own picnic or else let the Garden Café take care of all your needs. In addition to tea, coffee and delicious cakes, we have created a special barbeque menu for the day. Why not pre-order with your tickets to make it even easier!
