The magical Teddy Bears’ Picnic will take place at Brigit’s Garden on Sunday July 15th 2018 starting at 12.30pm. Children and their families are welcome to bring along their favourite teddy and join us for a day of fun-filled activities.

Schedule of Events:

12.30pm – Teddy Bears’ Picnic Opens

1pm & 2pm– Musical Stories with Carol

2.30pm – Teddy Bears’ Disco

All Day Events include:

Teddy Bear Arts & Crafts: Make a very special beaded necklace for your teddy bear to take home. Get creative and take some time to colour in teddy bear pictures using crayons and pencils and create a teddy bear collage.

Honey Bear Treasure Hunt: Little Bears can hunt for honey pots around the four Celtic Gardens and Big Bears can hunt around the nature trail. All children will receive a small prize.

Teddy Bear Hospital: How is little Teddy Bear feeling? Meet the doctor at the Teddy Bear Hospital and make sure he is in tip-top shape.

Also there is Pond-dipping, Chalk Portraits and face-painting.

We are a not-for-profit organisation located a short drive from Galway City offering award-winning Celtic gardens, nature trail, an ancient ring fort (fairy fort), thatched roundhouse and crannog, and the calendar sundial, the largest in Ireland. We also have a Visitors Centre, Cafe, Gift Shop and Function Room.
