Fresh from a sell-out tour, the star of BBC’s The Blame Game and Soft Border Patrol, Neil Delamere, returns with a brand new show. This time he thinks he has that whole “illusion of control” idea sussed.
Then again he would think that, wouldn’t he?
Described by The Scotsman as “a master”, Delamere is renowned for his on-stage banter and quick-witted, well-observed yarns and previous tours and international appearances – including the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival – have been a sell-out.
Neil is a regular on TV shows like RTÉ’s The Panel, 2nd Republic, BBC’s The Blame Game, Fighting Talk and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow.
Sat 16 March at 8pm
Neil was the writer and presenter of RTE2’s comedy documentary series Holding Out for A Hero, which took a wry and humourous look at the lives of four Irish heroes from history: Grace O’Malley/Granuaile, Red Hugh O’Donnell, Cú Chulainn and Fionn Mac Cumhaill. It followed in the footsteps of the IFTA and Celtic Media Award-winning TV programmes on the Vikings and St. Patrick, also written and presented by Delamere.
