Drop into the Museum for some fishy fun and celebrate International Year of the Salmon! Visit the fantastic collection of fish species on display and learn about how Ireland’s most iconic fish species, salmon, is facing its biggest challenge yet. Join one of the hands-on activities and grab a microscope to see what creepy crawlies live in our rivers and lakes. See up close historical fishing equipment and discover how we have been catching fish for the last seven thousand years.
