This fun activity designed to introduce constellations visable in the Northern Hemisphere in August & to highlight some of the mythology stories associated with them. Followed by stargazing.

Kay O’Connor and Michael Sheehan of Caherdaniel Dark Sky Group present "Constellation Detective" activity and associated mythology stories of August constellations in The Northern Hemisphere followed by telescope and naked eye stargazing, (weather permitting) 11pm onwards.  Please follow the tea light pathway, avoid white torches and mobile phone torches as they will affect your night vision. Safety notice all children must be supervised by an adult.
