The Fairy Queen and Elf King are on their way to Brigit's Garden and are inviting all fairies and elves, to join them for a magical day of fairy fun in Ireland's award winning Celtic Gardens.

The festivities start at 12.30pm until 4.30pm on the 18th August and we encourage everyone to come in their favourite fairy or elf costume for an enchanting day in the Gardens.

Activities include meeting the Fairy Queen and Elf King, Tug-O-War, the Elf Hunt, a visit to the Fairy Garden, Arts & Crafts including create your own Fairy Door, Wand & Crown Making, Storytelling and the Elf & Fairy Ball.

For a fun summer holiday project, why not make your own fairy garden and bring it along on the day for the exhibition? You can get some inspiration here. The fairy queen has a prize for all those who take part.


Under 2's go free and there is a 10% discount for Brigit's Garden Members.

Brigit's Garden is a place of connection with nature, beauty and Celtic heritage as well as a resource for education, reflection and creativity. We are a not-for-profit organisation located a short drive from Galway City offering award-winning Celtic gardens, nature trail, an ancient ring fort (fairy fort), thatched roundhouse and crannog, and the calendar sundial, the largest in Ireland. We also have a Visitors Centre, Cafe, Gift Shop and Function Room.
