Tom O’Donoghue has been interested in Astronomy since picking up his first edition of Astronomer Magazine as a teenager. What was once a hobby soon escalated into an obsession and a desire to capture the magic of the Night Sky. He has spent many years perfecting the art of Astro-photography and travels extensively to capture that perfect shot. His pictures have been published in magazines such as Astronomy Irelands' "Astronomy and Space", The BBC's "The Sky At Night", "Astronomy Now", the French "Astronomie Magazine", and "Practical Astronomer".
Tom will exhibit his work in The Market House, Monaghan for the duration of Science Week and will also run a workshop on Astro-photography process. A must for any amateur photographs out there! Places Limited, Booking Essential.
