Teagasc Ashtown Research Centre
An Open Evening at Teagasc Research Centre: Meet some of the Teagasc researchers in food, horticulture and spatial science. Find out more about the science of food and how this relates to you and what you eat. How do we use all our senses to relate to food? How clean are your hands? What makes a good steak? What exactly is gluten? Get the answers to these and many more questions at this open evening.
You will also see the invisible world revealed by satellite images and a food 3-D printer in action! Researchers will be there to talk to you about their work, and there will be an opportunity to participate, as well as live music from our in-house band.
Register for free on EventBrite (thanks to sponsorship by Science Foundation Ireland and Teagasc). This is a family friendly event for all ages. Please note photography and video footage will be taken at this event.
