But as you dash around looking for Crème eggs and hot cross buns, we have the entertainment sorted. All over the country there are fantastic Easter Egg Hunts for children of all ages. Fantastic Fun on the Farm in Dublin

Easter is an amazing time of year at Wooly farm. It is the season for lots of new animals being born.  Lambs, chicks, and piglets will all be arriving over Easter. The Easter Eggstavaganza promises a few delightful days for everyone to enjoy. Special Activities such as the Easter Egg Hunt, Live Lambing, Animal Maternity Ward and the Easter Show will all be on offer.
 

Loving all things Easter in Luggwoods

The Easter Bunny will be making an appearance in Luggwoods Enchanted Forest. All aboard the Luggwoods Express, a special carriage that will take you on a magical journey through the forest. Along the way, there will be a clues to uncover and missing Easter Eggs to track down. This is a real family-friendly event. There will be real-live bunnies and chickens, and lots of Easter crafts in the foothills of the Dublin Mountains.

The Wicklow SPCA have a really special Easter planned this year for both children and pets. You can bring your little ones and your furry ones on Sunday March 25th for an Easter egg hunt with a twist. And talented pets can be entered in the “My Pet’s Got Talent” competition. This will be a great way to start the Easter holidays.
 
And in Greenan Maze, Ballinanty, Co.Wicklow, on Easter Sunday and Monday there will be an Egg Hunt with a twist. As well as treasure hunts, nature trails, face painting and a fairy tree walk, the Easter bunny and Easter Chick will be making an appearance. They will help you solve the clues to find your way to the middle of the maze where you can claim your reward. Booking ahead is advisable.
 

Glorious Egg Hunt in Galway

In the magical Brigit’s Garden, just outside Galway City, the annual family Easter Hunt will be taking place on Easter Sunday. There are two types of hunts, a mini-hunt for the little ones around the four Celtic Gardens, and a mighty-hunt for older children around the nature trail. The Easter Bunny will be there, and with games and crafts to entertain, this promises to make for a memorable day.

Easter Egg Hunt – Croke Park

At Croke Park the stadium tour and Easter Egg Hunt will be a winning combination from March 26th – 29th. During the ‘access-all-areas’ tour there will be lots of clues and hidden tokens to discover, in a quest to win a Cadbury Easter Egg. In the GAA museum, fans of all ages will see treasures of the past. And in the Interactive Games Zone there will be a chance to show off your own hurling and football skills. GAA and chocolate – what’s not to love?
 

Magical Egg Hunt in Merrion Square

On March 30th and 31st there will be a massive Easter Egg hunt in Dublin’s Merrion Square. As well as a delicious Cadbury Easter Egg for everyone who completes the challenge, there will be lots of family friendly activities and entertainment. And best of all, all proceeds are in aid of Barnardos.
 

Chocolate delights in Carlow           

The beautiful Huntington’s Castle & Gardens will be celebrating the return of the golden nugget treasure hunt. Enjoy the splashes of colour as spring flowers make their appearance in the magnificent gardens. Each child will receive a basket and set of clues to help them gather the nuggets hidden around the gardens. And then back in the Courtyard, these can be traded in for a chocolate treat. This unique event  is for limited numbers.  So be sure to book early.
 

Fabulous Egg Hunt in Fota

Fota House and Gardens has teamed up with Cadburys to ensure that all children who complete their Easter trail can claim a choccie surprise. There will be woodland clues along the way for your mini Sherlock Holmes to solve. The perfect Easter activity on 30th and 31st March for children of all ages.
