Dublin Marathon for Barretstown
If you have signed up for the SSE Airtricity Dublin Marathon this October we are already in awe of you….
To commit to running, walking or crawling 26.2 miles is a fantastic achievement. And something most of us can’t even consider undertaking. By now you have probably started your training programme and are pounding the roads every evening.
If you want some extra motivation to get you to the finishing line, why not take run as part of Team Barretstown and alongside a very special young man by the name of James Casserly.
James is 11 years old. He has cerebral palsy and juvenile arthritis. Last year he was the youngest person to ever compete in the SSE Airtricity Dublin Marathon in a wheelchair alongside his coach, Mark Lacey. Will you cross the finish line with James this year, as part of Team Barretstown as he takes on this phenomenal challenge once again?
“Barretstown is such a special and magical place” James
