Away with the Fairies

Ardgillan Castle has launched the newest addition to its already spectacular parkland with the creation of a Fairy Tree Trail. The trail is dotted around the woodland area of the walled garden and offers visitors a chance to learn about the different varieties of trees.

Be a Tourist for the Day

With Dublin strictly for the Dubs at the moment, this is the perfect time to be a tourist in your own city. Download Fáilte Ireland’s Dublin Discovery Trails App and take a self guided trail through the city’s colourful past.

Art in the Open

Merrion Square Open-Air Art Gallery continues every Sunday from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm. You can purchase original art directly from the artist or simply stroll around the square and admire the works on display.

Head for Howth

Get some picnic treats at the Abbey Tavern delicatessen and then work up an appetitie on the Howth Cliff Walk. Watch the fishing boats unload their catch and pick up some fresh fish in Wrights for supper. A trip to the seaside village of Howth is the perfect Dublin day out.
