We don’t know who started the tradition of the Christmas Day Swim. But it has definitely become one of the most bracing ways to work up an appetite for Christmas Dinner.
Many of these events are raising money for worthy causes. So grab the togs, rope in your mates and check out some of the Christmas Day swims on InspireMe.ie.

The Marathon Man to Iron Man Santa Swim is taking place at Dublin’s 40 foot on Christmas Eve. Get it over with early.
