South Tipperary Art Centre, Clonmel until June 16th

Protest! Memories Of 1968

Celebrate the the spirit of 1968 with this thought- provoking exhibition. On display are limited edition prints by Robert Ballagh. In addition, you can see ‘VIVA CHE 1968!’, the original red and black Che Guevara poster reproduced exactly from the original artwork. This was first shown in the ‘Viva Che’ exhibition in London in May 1968. There’s even a protest wall for a bit of self-expression. Find out more here.

 

 

The Courthouse Arts Centre, Tinahely until May 25th

IN-SITES/ÓN CHEAPACH features the work of three artists. The exhibition explores how, in different ways, they address our relationship with a constantly changing environment. The Model, Sligo until July 1st

 

FUTURE PERFECT is a collection of Contemporary Art from Germany. The collection includes films, photographs, sculptures, objects, painting, and collages by sixteen artists who look at visions of the future and speculations on the course of history. Find out more here

Beyond Belonging

Beyond Belonging’ explores three artists adoption of intuitive and automatic approaches to drawing and the illusive figures which emerge during their working processes. Solstice Art Centre, Navan until June 22nd

 

Industry is an exhibition that brings together a group of artists whose practices relate – either thematically, or in terms of the processes and materials that they use – to industries traditionally associated with County Meath. Farming, horse breeding, the manufacture of furniture and carpeting, engineering, food production, mining and tourism are all represented in the show. Find out more here.
