FESTIVAL: Cork Harbour Festival

The Cork Harbour Festival, takes place from Fri 4 – Mon 14 June 2021. This year’s programme is packed with events on water, on land and on your screen, presenting 15 events online and an incredible 28 activities that festival goers can participate in around Cork City and Harbour.

Dive right in to over 40 activities on water, on land and on your screens!

FESTIVAL: The Goldsmith International Literary Festival

The Goldsmith International Literary Festival festival, takes place over the June Bank Holiday. Founded to celebrate the literary genius of Oliver Goldsmith. It has over the years explored many aspects of Goldsmith’s life, society, and writings. This years festival takes place entirely online. This year’s theme is The Future for Irish Agriculture, ‘The Deserted Village’ as ‘Rural virtues leave the land’, the environmental, economic and social sustainability of Irish Agriculture.

FESTIVAL: Bloom 2021

For the second year in a row, you can take part in #BloomAtHome via a series of virtual initiatives and events providing gardening advice and inspiration. Along with live panels and Q&As on gardening topics, organisers also have an exciting new initiative planned for this year – they’ll be sharing seven easy to follow garden design and planting plans to help you create your dream garden at home.

FESTIVAL: Listowel Writers’ Week

Listowel Writers’ Week is a literary and cultural festival devoted to bringing together writers and participants at unique & innovative events Join in this year online for their 50th festival, celebrating the talented works of writers, poets, artists, storytellers, videographers, workshop directors and a whole lot more! The events programme packs a cultural punch with virtual spaces providing a unique platform for a wide genre of cultural experiences from the comfort of your own home this year. Contributors this year include; Damon Galgut in conversation with Colm Tóibín; Sarah Davis-Goff, Niall Bourke, Oana Aristide and Rick O’Shea; Patrick McGrath in conversation with Rhona Tarrant; Christine Dwyer-Hickey in conversation with Deirdre Walsh.

FESTIVAL: Copper Coast Festival

The Copper Coast Festival have a lovely line-up of events for the weekend. The South Eastern Amateur Radio Group EI2WRC will be broadcasting live across Europe on Saturday and Sunday June 5th and 6th. There will be road bowling in Fenor, a Seed Plant and Produce Swap and Share and lots more….
