LITERATURE: International Women’s Day
Celebrate International Women’s Day with an inspiring online chat with An Táin Arts Centre and best-selling author and TV Presenter Emma Ledden. Emma will talk about creativity, career, motherhood and the women that have inspired her as she launches her new children’s book ‘My Mammy Knows Everything’.

POETRY: March Close Reading Workshop
On Wednesday the National Library of Ireland will host a close reading of the poetry of Seamus Heaney. From sonnets to sestets, alliteration to assonance, they’ll take a look at some poetic terms and brush up on what to look for when reading your favourite Heaney poems.

LITERATURE: Off The Page: Kazuo Ishiguro in conversation
Friday will see the International Literature Festival Dublin welcome Kazuo Ishiguro for this very special event to mark the publication of Klara and the Sun, his first novel since receiving the Nobel Prize in Literature.

THEATRE: Let There Be Theatre
On Saturday Limerick’s Belltable, in association with Bigger Picture Projects, is joining Aurora Nova and partners around the world to mark the one year anniversary of the day when most theatres in the world sadly shut their doors. . LET THERE BE THEATRE will celebrate the power of live performance. And remind us what we miss and love about that creative communal experience.
