5 Things to Do This Week
1 -7 February – Our top 5 things to do this week
February brings snowdrops and daffodils, a grand stretch in the evenings and promise of Spring. We are full of hope. And while we still need to hold tough and stay home, there are some great online events taking place around the country to celebrate the new season. Here’s our favourite things to do this week…..
FESTIVAL: Cruinniú Lá Fhéile Bhríde
Start the week and celebrate St Brigid’s Day with this online celebration of Brigid, Goddess and Saint. Enjoy music, art, meditations and talks presented by The Brigid of Faughart Festival and An Táin Arts Centre.

CHARITY: Run, Walk or Roll for BUMBLEance
BUMBLEance is the official Children’s National Ambulance Service of Ireland. They transport children to hospitals, hospices and treatment centres in comfort and style – a bee journey. The difference they make to sick children and their families at their toughest times can’t be overstated. The average trip with one of their ‘bees’ is 185km. And they have a challenge for you – Run – Walk or Roll 185km in February and raise €185. Which will pay for a very important bee journey.
