FESTIVAL: Cork International Film Festival
Ireland’s first and largest film festival, the Cork International Film Festival is back for it’s 65th edition. For the very first time all films will be screened digitally and available to audiences across Ireland to enjoy. Log on, put your feet up, and join in for great films, Q&As with the filmmakers, and much more besides….

FESTIVAL: Yarn Storytelling Festival
The Yarn Storytelling Festival continues until the end of the month with a delightful programme of online workshops, concerts and of course lots of stories. Liz Weir will share traditional tales of magic on Thursday. And be sure to catch John Spillane this Saturday night for music and chats.

MUSIC: Majella Cullagh with John O’Brien
Cork’s own Majella Cullagh, one of Ireland’s greatest sopranos, returns to The Everyman. Accompanied on piano by John O’Brien, this will be a night of love, laughter and beautiful, heart-warming music and songs.

FESTIVAL: Diwali Festival of Lights
Ireland India Council are Dublin City Council are celebrating Diwali-Festival of Lights virtually. And we are all invited!
Diwali is one of the most popular festivals of India that symbolises the victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance. The virtual event will include dance, music, fashion and visual arts, followed by messages by dignitaries.

THEATRE: A Whole New Story
Although we can’t get the Dun Laoghaire’s Pavilion Theatre in person at the moment, we can all enjoy their great online programme. Hosted by actor Owen Roe, this unique online event, taking place on Friday, will feature authors Liz Nugent, Donal Ryan, Paul Howard, Hilary Fannin and Michelle Forbes reading from their latest work with musical interludes from the wonderful Ellen Cranitch and Conor Linehan.
