FESTIVAL: Éigse Michael Hartnett Literary & Arts Festival
Kicking off on Thursday, Éigse Michael Hartnett Literary & Arts Festival is a celebration of Michael Hartnett & his poetry. Taking place in the open air of Newcastle West and streaming online, there will be a stellar line up of writers, musicians and storytellers on hand to delight and entertain.

FESTIVAL: Kilkenny Animated
Kilkenny Animated is a new festival of visual storytelling taking over Kilkenny city this weekend. Get ready for exhibitions, screenings, city projections, workshops, panels & lots more. We can’t wait to see what’s in store….

FESTIVAL: Bualadh Bos Children’s Festival
Despite the challenging circumstances Limerick’s Lime Tree Theatre | Belltable team have put together a fantastic programme of events for their annual Bualadh Bos Children’s Festival. It includes both live and online shows, creative workshops and even a family mystery trail around the Georgian quarter of the city. Delightful and well needed!

FESTIVAL: Cork Folk Festival
The 41st edition of the Cork Folk Festival is set to take place between 30th September and 4th October. There is an all-star line-up of musicians involved, including Aoife Scott, John Spillane, Leah Sohotra & Martin Leahy. Live streaming of the performances will be available for all to enjoy. Or grab one of the remaining tickets for a live performance to see Fiddles at the Kino. Certainly, there are an excellent few days of music promised…

COMEDY: Comedy KARLnival with Karl Spain, Sean Finnerty, Ivan Brackenbury (Hospital Radio DJ)
Last but not least, one of our all-time favourite venues, Galway’s Róisín Dubh, is back in business and the autumn programme doesn’t disappoint. Karl Spain is at the helm this Tuesday with Sean Finnerty and Therese Cahill on stage. And with Ivan Brackenbury, Hospital Radio DJ virtually live via zoom (how very 2020!) Some tickets remaining for anyone in need of a laugh….
